Description SUMMIT Appliance ( a Division of Felix Storch, Inc. is a 57-year-old private business, located in the Bronx, NY, Edison, NJ and Freehold, NJ. We are a manufacturer and distributor of major appliances, including vaccine, healthcare and life science refrigeration. For a more complete company history candidates are encouraged to visit our website, We are currently seeking a Press Brake Assembler to join our Freehold, NJ team. This role will be responsible for the safe operation of the press brake machine involved in metal fabrication. This role is a long‑term opportunity in a very busy facility. Responsibilities Check parts against print using proper QC measuring equipment. Load/unload machines and may check basic cross‑reference information to assure correct part is being processed. Assure that basic quality checks are performed at specific intervals on machine parts. Perform routine maintenance on all machines to ensure optimal performance. Prepare and run complex setups and form operations. This includes custom punch modification used in combination with other tooling. Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions. Read prints, set up and run various metal fabrication equipment. Work responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies. Perform other related duties as required by Supervisor/Fabrication Manager Job Qualifications 2+ years of manufacturing work experience. 1+ years of press brake machinery experience. (preference on Amada press brake). Must be able to read blueprints and technical documents. Must be able to check and measure parts according to technical document specification. Use of measurement tools, calipers, micrometers, etc. Familiar with folding machines.
