Radiation Oncology RN

Location: Saratoga, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires expertise in IV and port access, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients undergoing radiation treatment for cancer.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Assist in procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State RN license required.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, with specific experience in Radiation Oncology.
• EPIC charting system experience preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
