Job Summary Provide warm, friendly, and professional service while welcoming and seating guests, managing phone calls and takeout orders, and accurately completing cash and payment transactions. Ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to hospitality and creates a positive first and lasting impression. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet guests upon arrival and open doors when possible to create a welcoming first impression Complete required side work and set up seating charts and server rotation for each shift Seat guests efficiently while providing friendly conversation and clear wait time communication Manage waitlists accurately, noting party details and special requests Introduce menus, share specials, ensure table presentation, and direct guests to their server Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and stay current on updates Answer phones professionally, take and enter to‑go orders accurately, and communicate timing with the kitchen Process payments accurately through the POS system Assist with clearing and resetting tables to support smooth service flow Maintain a clean and organized lobby and host stand Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding guest needs or service issues Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return Remain flexible and assist as needed to ensure efficient restaurant operations Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age Ability to stand for extended periods of time Strong listening and verbal communication skills with clear speech and comprehension Basic math skills with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point‑of‑sale system Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service Positive, engaging personality with strong interpersonal skills Ability to multitask efficiently while remaining courteous and professional in a fast‑paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
