In this role, you will:Manage and develop a team of individuals with low to moderate work complexity and risk in Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional areaEnsure credit execution is consistent and aligned with required credit policies and processesSupport and drive adoption of new credit policies and related changes across the teamIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional areaMake decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop credit policies and proceduresSupport in execution of policy changesCollaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and more experienced managersCoach and develop credit teamManage allocation of people and financial resources for Commercial Banking Portfolio ManagementMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experienceDesired qualifications:Experience with complex credit, underwriting, and debt structure for clients with annual revenue of $25MM to $2B+ Completion of a formal credit training program Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services such as, commercial lending and treasury management Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnerships Experience in swiftly adopting and executing change management to enable business growth Experience identifying risk, ensuring compliance with processes, and mitigating risk issues Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business Job expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position offers a hybrid work schedule Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
