Performs all warehousing functions required to fulfill warehousing and distribution operations at a facility.

Details:

Applies simple and some intermediate skills to perform functions in the execution of existing procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to the position within assigned area.

Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

Able to prioritize work according to established guidelines.

Adapts to changing priorities to meet customer demands.

Simple computer literacy.

Receives and processes delivery and storage of all parts from received from divisional receipts, vendor receipts, subcontractor receipts, and small package receipts.

Assist in maintaining the proper storage of parts.

Uses RF Scanner device (barcode reader) to pull products from warehouse.

Uses proper packing materials and methods to move parts.

Transports kits to the assembly area as directed.

Maintains kit holding area.

Works with scales, calculators, and other devices to make sure production counts are accurate.

Operates WAVE and JLG lifts, electrical jacks, and other equipment used to move product.

May be trained to use forklift.

Physical Demands & Abilities:

Able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Position will require sitting, walking, or standing for at least 40 hours per week.

Regularly performs repetitive task.

Able to stand for entire shift.

Overtime as required.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties. This ability to communicate requires the employee to be conversant in English as most of our workforce and the third parties that we encounter only speak English.
