Job Description The Department of Economics at UMSL is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct instructor positions in Economics. Courses may include Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and possibly others. Adjunct appointments are term, non‑benefit, non‑tenure accruing positions. Appointment positions are for the semester with the possibility of renewed appointment based on performance. Hiring Department The Department of Economics. Qualifications Minimum: Master’s Degree in Economics, by the start of the appointment. Preferred: PhD in Economics. Application Materials Letter of interest, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, and a list of three references. Visa Sponsorship Information Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.
