Strategic Client Advisor In Benefits ConsultingDirector-level health and benefits consulting role in New York, focused on employer health plans and related life, disability, dental, and vision benefits. You'll lead strategic client engagements, actuarial and financial analysis, renewals, plan design, carrier negotiations, and advisory teams. The hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the local office or with clients.RequirementsMust have:5+ years of experience in health and benefits consulting and/or actuarial workStrongly preferred:BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related fieldProgress toward the ASA designationDemonstrated experience leading client engagements for complex health care benefit plansStrong client-facing experience and confidence advising senior stakeholdersStrong financial acumen and analytical abilityProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointNice to have:Experience combining health & benefits consulting with actuarial leadershipStrong understanding of employer health plan strategy, renewals, funding, and plan designAbility to lead large, complex projects and influence client decisionsSkills & DomainTools: Excel PowerPoint Domain: Health and benefits consulting and/or actuarial work Leading client engagements for complex health care benefit plans Strategic and financial solutions for employer benefit plans
