As Account Manager for Scot Shaw Ins Agency, Inc, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. Scot Shaw Ins Agency, Inc. is seeking a motivated, relationship-focused Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable having needs-based conversations , building trusted customer relationships, and proactively identifying opportunities to help both prospective and existing customers with their insurance needs. This is a sales-focused role that requires initiative, consistent follow-up, and a willingness to continually build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct needs-based conversations to understand customers' circumstances, goals, and insurance needs.
- Continually prospect for new business and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers.
- Follow up consistently with leads, prospects, and open opportunities.
- Quote and present appropriate insurance solutions based on customer needs.
- Develop new customer relationships and convert opportunities into new business.
- Proactively work with our existing customer base to deepen relationships and identify additional insurance needs.
- Identify opportunities to increase multi-line households and improve customer retention.
- Provide a professional, responsive, and relationship-focused customer experience.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
- Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
- Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
- Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
- Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
- P & C license & life/health insurance is preferred, but not required
