Advance Practice Provider, NP/PA, OB/GYN - PRN

Provide PRN outpatient OB/GYN care across Strongsville Family Health Center, Brunswick Family Health Center, Medina Medical Office Building, and Wooster Family Health Center Conduct annual exams Perform gynecological problem visits and procedures Care for low-risk obstetrical patients in collaboration with the primary physician Interpret and manage laboratory, imaging, and other testing Conduct medical histories and physical examinations Initiate and interpret diagnostic tests and develop diagnosis and treatment plans Perform routine and specialized procedures within credentialing and privileges Prescribe and monitor medications as permitted by license, state board, and Cleveland Clinic policies Educate patients about diseases, treatments, and medication side effects and hazards Participate in medical team rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Refer patients to specialists when appropriate Ensure continuity of care and coordinate with specialty areas Review records and treatment plans to monitor patient outcomes and quality of care Facilitate discharge planning and regulatory compliance Support healthcare team professional development and evidence-based practices May conduct research, assist with data collection and analysis, precept students, and onboard new caregivers Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum one year of experience in Women’s Health required New graduates will not be considered APRN: MSN required upon hire or within three years of hire for applicable external and internal hires APRN: Graduate of an accredited APRN program PA: Graduate of an A.R.C.-approved Physician Assistant Program PA: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and/or higher degree from a program recognized by the practicing state’s Licensing Board Oral and written communication in English NP: Current Nurse Practitioner license in applicable state(s) NP: RN license in applicable state(s) NP: National Nurse Practitioner certification recognized by the state Board of Nursing PA: Physician Assistant certification through NCCPA or successor organization recognized by the practicing state’s Licensing Board PA: License to practice and prescribe issued by the practicing state’s Licensing Board PA: Current DEA license or DEA designee as required by NCQA Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required ACLS, PALS, NRP, or ATLS may be required based on work setting NP: Physician arrangements required under applicable State Board of Nursing requirements PA: Physician Supervision Agreement and signed addendum required Credentialing and privileges by the Medical Executive Committee and Governing Body of applicable hospitals Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Competency in advanced assessment and diagnosis Ability to use the electronic medical record Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action Related clinical experience preferred Ability to walk and stand for long periods Manual and finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination for physical examinations Corrected vision and hearing within normal range Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to comply with standard precautions and required personal protective equipment May require exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids Must comply with post‑offer controlled‑substance testing Must comply with the annual influenza prevention program or obtain an approved exemption Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in providing outpatient OB/GYN care, including conducting annual exams, managing low‑risk obstetrical patients, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
