About the Role:
The Goddard School of McKinney (Honey Creek) is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Office Manager to join our team on the closing shift! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in a nurturing early childhood education environment where every day makes a difference in the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily office operations during the closing shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient end-of-day experience
• Serve as the primary point of contact for families during afternoon pickup, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism
• Manage student attendance records, enrollment documentation, supply ordering and Quality Assurance documents
• Coordinate with teaching staff to ensure proper classroom coverage and closing procedures are followed
• Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate student and staff records
• Ensure the facility is secure, clean, and properly closed at the end of each business day
• Provide classroom support by covering potty breaks and assisting during nap time as needed to ensure appropriate staff-to-child ratios and smooth classroom operations.
• Manage the front desk phone, answer incoming calls, and direct or transfer calls to the appropriate staff members or external contacts as needed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in office administration, childcare management, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with families, staff, and leadership
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office software
• Ability to work afternoon/closing shift hours reliably and consistently
• Must pass required background checks in accordance with state childcare regulations
• A warm, professional demeanor with a passion for early childhood education
