Duties/Responsibilities: Perform all aspects of criminal defense representation Appear in court for all court settings including arraignments, pretrial conferences, and jury trials Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members Review and develop strategies for assigned cases Negotiate and settle cases or prepare matters for jury trial Perform legal research and apply legal principles to legal problems Draft pleadings and present those statements of law, facts, and arguments clearly, logically, and effectively both written and orally Effectively manage a substantial caseload Job Type : Full-time Job Location : Houston, TX Required : Texas Bar License Language : Spanish (Required) License/Certification : Texas Bar (Required) Work Location : In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
