Physical Therapist Qualifications:

Physical Therapy Degree from an Accredited University
Physical Therapist with an either new or experienced background
Current or eligible Iowa Physical Therapy license
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and documentation skills

Duties:

Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions through tests, observations, and medical histories to diagnose movement disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
Treatment Planning: Design and implement tailored exercise programs and therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about exercises, lifestyle modifications, and strategies to prevent injury and manage their conditions effectively.
Manual Therapy: Use hands-on techniques to manipulate muscles and joints, alleviate pain, and enhance movement.
Rehabilitation: Guide patients through rehabilitative exercises and activities to recover from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions.
Monitoring Progress: Track and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care and support patients' overall health goals.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all treatments are performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
