Physical Therapist Qualifications:

• Physical Therapy Degree from an Accredited University
• Physical Therapist with an either new or experienced background
• Current or eligible Iowa Physical Therapy license
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Duties:

• Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions through tests, observations, and medical histories to diagnose movement disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Treatment Planning: Design and implement tailored exercise programs and therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about exercises, lifestyle modifications, and strategies to prevent injury and manage their conditions effectively.
• Manual Therapy: Use hands-on techniques to manipulate muscles and joints, alleviate pain, and enhance movement.
• Rehabilitation: Guide patients through rehabilitative exercises and activities to recover from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions.
• Monitoring Progress: Track and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care and support patients' overall health goals.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all treatments are performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
