MIG Welder
Location: Elkhart, IN
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Elkhart, IN. This position is responsible for welding 11–16 gauge steel tubing to precise specifications while maintaining high production and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with light to mid-gauge steel fabrication and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Available on Fridays
Pay: $20/hr
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform MIG welding on 11–16 gauge steel tubing
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Set up and adjust welding equipment according to material specification
Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance standards
Inspect finished welds and make corrections as needed
Maintain consistent production output
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work are
Qualifications
Previous MIG welding experience required
1 Year professional experience preferred, hobby welding ok.
Experience welding 11–16 gauge steel tubing preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Skills
