Job Title: Travel RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience. Description: The position is for a Travel RN in the Emergency Department. The unit has a total of 14 beds. There are 48 staff members on the team. Patient ratios are 1:3-4. The department uses EMR - Meditech for documentation. Typical procedures performed include central line insertion, chest tubes, thoracic lavage, and intubations. The ideal candidate should be independent, self-motivated, caring, and possess strong customer service skills. Patient care experience is a priority. Effective communication with staff and providers is essential. Scrub color required is maroon/wine/burgundy.
