Senior Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Wautoma, WI. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our manufacturing equipment running efficiently through proactive preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting of breakdowns, and mechanical/electrical repairs. If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving, working with automated production systems, and driving continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical & Electrical Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment overhauls, and emergency repairs on production machinery to minimize downtime.Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilize multimeters and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.System Adjustments & Alignment: Calibrate, align, and test production equipment and components according to operational specifications.Fabrication & Repairs: Perform basic welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical repairs to support plant tooling and machine performance.Continuous Improvement: Partner with operations and engineering teams using Lean/World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles to optimize equipment reliability and safety.Documentation: Accurate tracking of preventive maintenance tasks, repair history, and work orders within our maintenance system.Experience RequiredPLC / Automation Credentials (Allen-Bradley / Siemens / Fanuc): Vendor-specific certifications covering programmable logic controllers, industrial robotics, and drives OR CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician) OR CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional)High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing machinery maintenance.Strong background in mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, and fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics).Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals.Demonstrated safety-first mindset and strong diagnostic problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.Prior experience with basic PLC logic troubleshooting and sensor diagnostics.Welding and metal fabrication experience in a production environment.Pay TransparencyThis role pays at $40.00-$50.00 an hour.
