Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional is highly desirable
• Ability to provide general support coverage across a variety of classrooms and age groups
• Comfortable stepping in and taking direction from lead teachers or staff
• District fingerprints and either Georgia PSC or substitute certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to a range of classroom situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in daily instructional activities and classroom management
• Support students individually or in small groups with assignments, activities, or special needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Follow teacher instructions and district guidelines to maintain continuity of learning
• Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, cafeterias, and recreation areas
