Job Summary and Qualifications As an Employee Occupational Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting safe patient care by managing both administrative and clinical tasks that keep the department running smoothly and maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff. Your responsibilities will include: Providing front‑line administrative support, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing billing, and maintaining accurate records Acting as a patient advocate by promptly responding to questions and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism Maintaining thorough and organized patient and employee health files, ensuring all documentation is up to date Coordinating employee health services such as pre‑employment screenings, immunizations, fit testing, and follow‑up on work‑related injuries Monitoring and restocking medical and office supplies to keep the unit fully equipped and ready to provide care What qualifications you will need: (BAT) Breath Alcohol Technician must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Urine Drug Screen Collector must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date High School Graduate / GED No Travel Required Benefits St. David's Healthcare offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
