As a Veterinary Assistant at our hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of small animals and exotics, providing top-notch care and support to our furry patients. Daily Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians with surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring Provide small animal care, including patient recovery and fluid therapy Handle animal restraint and assist with fear-free techniques Perform kennel duties and maintain cleanliness in patient areas Conduct client education on preventive care and wellness exams Required Skills: Experience in small animal medicine and patient care Knowledge of digital radiography and fecal flotation techniques Strong animal handling skills and a passion for animal welfare Ability to work with exotics and provide exceptional animal care Salary and Benefits: We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including sick leave, paid time off, paid parental leave, and short-term disability.
