Overview Beardstown Family Dental 507 Washington Street, Beardstown, IL 62618 Beardstown Family Dental is looking for a friendly, collaborative Dental Hygienist to join our team. Schedule Monday 7:30am-5:30pm Wednesday 7:30am-5:30pm Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm 2 Fridays/Month 7:30am-12pm Consistent Patient Schedule Average approx. 7-8 patients a day 60 min recare and prophys 60-90 min SRPs (hygienist autonomy) 90 min new patient appointment About Beardstown Family Dental Join an 18-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication and community! Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in IL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience Open to new graduates or experienced hygienists! Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
