Closing date: January 11, 2027 Title: ASSISTANT BUSINESS MANAGER Employee Type: Unclassified Staff Department: Medicine Campus Location: MEDICINE/NEW ORLEANS Job Summary/Basic Functions Under the general supervision of the division head(s) and business manager, incumbent's mission will be to provide professional level administrative support for all business aspects of the section(s), including day to day management and financial functions. The incumbent will be responsible for adhering to all relevant rules, regulations and procedures while driving efficiencies and maximizing resources in support of the DOM, SOM, and LSUHSC's mission. This includes but is not limited to ensuring that all expenditures are within available sources of funds and are appropriate for the projects and source of funding. All duties will be accomplished with a high degree of independence, timeliness, confidentiality and initiative. Minimum Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Required Field of Study: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline Number of years required to perform the job: One Type of experience required to perform the job: applicable experience Substitution: Master's degree in business oriented discipline can substitute for required experience.
