Office Engineer

Francison Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking two (2) experienced Senior Office Engineers – M&O to support the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Facilities Services Division – Maintenance & Operations Project Units. This is an immediate opportunity to join a dynamic construction program managing school facility projects across one of the nation's largest public school districts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead administration of construction projects — planning, design, budgeting, scheduling & close-out
• Review & respond to RFCs, Change Order Proposals (COP) and Change Directives (CD)
• Prepare cost estimates and negotiate fair change order pricing with contractors
• Conduct site walks, review contractor baseline schedules, and analyze critical path & recovery
• Ensure DSA compliance and Constructability Review per District standards and building code
• Coordinate progress meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items
• Maintain project files: correspondence, invoices, change orders, claims & extra services
• Support project close-out and acquisition of as-builts, drawings, test records & maintenance manuals
• Perform other duties as directed by Senior Project Managers, OARs, or Project Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

• 8 years full-time paid experience in construction/project management on commercial, public, or educational facility projects valued at $15M +
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (qualifying experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis)
• Preferred: BIM, LEED/CHPS, and DSA construction/design process experience
