• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and machinery.
• Maintain and repair shop equipment and CNC machines.
• Repair or replace defective equipment using hand and power tools.
• Reassemble equipment after repairs are completed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain required maintenance schedules.
• Inspect and maintain lifting equipment in accordance with EH&S requirements.
• Inspect and maintain motors, belts, bearings, wear surfaces, fluid levels, and other equipment components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Assemble, install, and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Record maintenance work orders and completed maintenance activities.
• Handle shop waste and inventory responsibilities.
• Work closely with facilities and manufacturing teams to support priority maintenance needs.
• Assist shop personnel as needed to support daily operations.

Experience Requirements

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Mechanically inclined with prior machine knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, elementary diagrams, ladder diagrams, pneumatic prints, and hydraulic prints.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• General knowledge of welding and manual machining equipment.
• Prior CNC repair experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including work order systems, email, and repair documentation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a factory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
• Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.
• HVAC systems experience.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
• Frequent bending while performing maintenance duties.

What You Will Do


As a Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations.
