Application Developer

We are currently seeking a qualified Application Developer for a remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and React.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable system integrations.
• Deploy applications on Apache Tomcat and cloud platforms.
• Build containerized applications using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and database queries in Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps.
• Write scripting solutions for building, deploying, and operational support.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Backend: Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate.
• Frontend: React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Database: Oracle, PL/SQL.
• Application Server: Apache Tomcat.
• Integration: REST APIs, Web Services.
• DevOps: Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Scripting: Shell scripting, Python, automation scripting.
• AI: Claude or similar AI tools.
• Experience with performance tuning and scalable architecture.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with enterprise application architecture.

Wage Range :
The rate for this position is between $64.90 - $95.67 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
