First-time travelers cannot be AO, manager is open to interviewing them - send over as clinical screen.

Weekend requirement: Every other

Certifications required: BLS, CPI

Skills required: Geriatric, Inpatient, Locked unit, Medical/Psych, Substance use/Chemical dependency, Medication administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc), Starting and maintaining IVs, Blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion/maintenance

Is on-call required? No

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Within service line, and to all BH units

Open to accommodating block schedule? No

Locals accepted: No, 75 mile radius

Pending license accepted: Yes

RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days

Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the contractor personnel is assigned

Special requirements: Epic, medical, and psych experience required

Adult psychiatric population and geriatric (18 years or older), some patients with co-morbid medical conditions that require med-surg approach. When floating to other BH units - patient is older adult and adult population, some patients with medical co-morbidities and mobility issues. Some diagnoses include dementia, depression, Parkinson's Disease, bipolar disorder, or anxiety. Some patients require pre-op prep for ECT IV start Presence in Milieu Restraint application
