About the Position

Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Wisconsin or Compact License Certifications: BLS, CCI or ARDMS Must-Have: - 1 year of relevant experience - BLS certification - CCI or ARDMS certification Description: The Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer will perform adult echocardiograms, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms. This position involves rotating call one day per week and every fourth weekend. Candidates will be expected to conduct stress and dobutamine echocardiograms. All work is done in accordance with the facility's protocols and procedures. Candidates must have experience with 2-D and 3-D echo, color Doppler, emergency department imaging, and pharmacologic stress echo. Previous experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. The daily patient census will average around 30 patients. The role may involve interdisciplinary support from various healthcare teams. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective customer service and communication skills.
