Job Overview A law firm seeks a dedicated Family Law Attorney in Wake Forest, NC. Duties Represent clients in family law matters, including negotiation and litigation. Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to resolve cases effectively. Analyze legal issues, understand client objectives, and develop strategic plans. Create legal documents such as agreements, pleadings, and orders. Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and staff. Meet an annual expectation of 1,600 billable hours. Requirements Licensed to practice law in North Carolina. 1-3 years of legal and trial experience in family law. Knowledge of local family court rules and procedures. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications North Carolina State Bar License. Skills Strong advocacy and trial skills. Experience with mediation. Excellent drafting and communication skills.
