Director, Account Management - Partnership Build & Optimization

ICON

ICON seeks a Director of Account Management to lead partnership infrastructure creation and optimization across strategic engagements. The role involves early partnership assessment, build planning, implementation oversight, and stakeholder management to ensure successful partnership launches and ongoing performance improvement.

Responsibilities

Contribute to RFIs/RFPs and partnership-level bid defenses with strategic content
Develop comprehensive partnership build and optimization plans with defined workstreams, milestones, and success measures
Lead implementation of partnership builds from initiation through completion, monitoring progress and mitigating risks
Design and facilitate partnership kick-off meetings and manage associated logistics and stakeholder coordination
Establish governance structures, communication frameworks, and operational processes; conduct health assessments and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
5+ years leading complex cross-functional initiatives or program delivery
5+ years direct operational experience in portfolio or partnership leadership
Strong project planning, organization, and execution capabilities
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to drive initiatives through influence without direct authority
Demonstrated risk identification, problem-solving, and results delivery in dynamic environments
