Construction Site Superintendent

THE OPPORTUNITY

BENCHMARK has been building throughout Maine and New Hampshire since 1993, and we need an Site Superintendent who thrives on keeping a jobsite tight, safe, and moving. You'll be the one everybody looks to when something needs to get solved on the fly — subs, schedules, inspections, all of it. We'll give you the trust to run your site your way; you bring the experience and the leadership to make it happen.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING

▪        Develop and manage project schedules

▪        Maintain paperwork including field reports, daily logs, and safety inspections

▪        Obtain all required inspections

▪        Ensure all aspects of the project are compliant with contract terms

▪        Ensure jobsite safety

▪        Maintain a clean and organized jobsite

▪        Ensure quality control throughout construction

▪        Develop and maintain successful relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other team members

▪        Maintain and review punch list items to ensure timely completion

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

▪        4+ years of experience successfully managing commercial construction projects

▪        Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

▪        Working knowledge of building codes, permitting, and other regulatory requirements

▪        Strong communication, leadership, time management, and organizational skills
