Position Summary The Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant / Office Manager is responsible for supporting both the clinical and administrative operations of the medical office. This position requires a professional, dependable, and compassionate individual who can communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish. The employee will assist the provider with patient care, manage front office duties, support daily clinic workflow, and help ensure that patients receive respectful, efficient, and high‑quality care. This role also helps maintain office organization, patient confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies. Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits. Take and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, height, oxygen level, and respirations. Review and update patient medical history, medications, allergies, and reason for visit. Assist the provider with examinations, procedures, and patient care as needed. Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms before and after each patient visit. Collect specimens and prepare lab orders as directed by the provider. Administer injections or medications only as ordered by the provider and within scope of training and certification. Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record. Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety guidelines. Bilingual Responsibilities Communicate with patients in English and Spanish. Assist Spanish‑speaking patients with forms, appointments, instructions, and general clinic information. Help ensure patients understand office policies, follow‑up instructions, and provider recommendations. Provide respectful and clear communication to patients from diverse backgrounds. Required Skills and Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role. At least 2 years of experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team‑oriented environment and in a busy medical office setting. Must be professional, dependable, compassionate, and detail‑oriented. Medical office or primary care experience preferred. Must follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality. Why Join Us?
