GA4 & GTM Implementation Expert

We are seeking a hands-on GA4 & GTM Implementation Expert to lead web instrumentation audits, tracking remediation, and measurement quality initiatives across multiple digital properties. The ideal candidate will have advanced Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Data Layer, and Server-Side GTM experience in production web environments.
Key Responsibilities-
Audit GTM containers, tags, triggers, variables, and data layer mappings.

Validate purchase, conversion, product, user, and form-submission tracking.

Troubleshoot customer journeys using GTM Preview and browser DevTools .

Diagnose GA4 (not set) issues, UTM problems, referral exclusions, and cross-domain tracking.

Audit and prevent PII exposure in analytics events and network payloads.

Build regression checks to prevent future tracking issues.

Evaluate and implement Server-Side GTM (sGTM) and first-party data collection.

Support CAPI and server-side advertising pixel routing.

Develop consolidated tracking specifications and client-facing gap reports.

Partner with engineering and business teams to resolve measurement issues.

5 8 years of experience in Digital Analytics or Measurement Implementation.

Advanced hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) .

Advanced experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) .

Strong knowledge of Data Layer architecture and web event tracking .

Experience with purchase and conversion tracking.

Strong experience with browser DevTools and network inspection .

At least one production implementation of Server-Side GTM (sGTM).

Understanding of CAPI and server-side ad pixel routing .

Experience creating analytics audit reports, gap analysis, and tracking specifications.

Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with App GTM .

Experience querying GA4 BigQuery exports .

Experience supporting multiple brands or web properties.

Experience with Quantum Metric or similar session-recording platforms.

Google Analytics / GA4 or Google Tag Manager certification.
