We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support daily administrative operations for an on-site team in Newark, Delaware. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys organized office work, accurate data handling, and serving as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors. The position will focus on document management, mail coordination, invoice entry in QuickBooks Desktop, and front desk support while helping the office run smoothly from day to day.

Responsibilities:

• Enter invoice information into QuickBooks Desktop with accuracy and consistency, ensuring records are updated promptly.

• Organize, label, and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems so documents are easy to retrieve.

• Receive, sort, distribute, and prepare outgoing mail to support efficient office communication.

• Welcome clients, guests, and vendors at the front desk with a courteous and attentive approach.

• Pull together files and supporting documents for team members when needed for reporting or general business use.

• Monitor office supply levels and help coordinate replenishment to avoid disruptions in daily operations.

• Arrange service or maintenance needs with office equipment providers as issues arise.

• Complete assigned tasks independently while keeping colleagues informed and coordinating work as needed to meet deadlines.

• At least 2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related office environment.
• Strong typing and numeric entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage filing systems and maintain organized records in both digital and paper formats.
• Comfortable handling mail processing, document sorting, and general front desk responsibilities.
• Familiarity with entering invoice data into accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Desktop.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, dependable approach when interacting with visitors and coworkers.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in an on-site office setting in Newark, Delaware.
