Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher - Soldotna, AK

We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in the Soldotna, Alaska area for the current school year. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and collaborate with school teams to support student success in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs
Provide direct specialized instruction in academic and functional skills
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and team planning

Qualifications:

Active Alaska Special Education Certification required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Special Education or related field
Strong communication and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred
