Senior Associate - Insurance Coverage

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Associate to join its insurance coverage team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate is a motivated attorney with strong writing skills and the ability to manage complex insurance coverage litigation independently. Remote candidates within Texas are welcome to apply. Duties Analyze third-party insurance policies and draft coverage opinions. Assist in federal and state litigation, including declaratory judgment actions. Draft pleadings, motions, and mediation statements. Correspond with opposing counsel, clients, and the court. Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis. Draft discovery requests and prepare subpoenas. Manage document productions and review document collections. Take and defend depositions, hearings, and mediations. Assist in locating and managing experts and consultants. Requirements Admitted to practice in Texas. Experience analyzing coverage under general liability, excess liability, E & O, and/or D & O policies. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Exceptional legal writing and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Problem‑solving skills and a strong work ethic.
