SEO Analyst

Job Description Versant is seeking an experienced SEO Analyst / SEO Engineer to support the continued growth and optimization of the MS NOW digital platform following its launch. This role will serve as the bridge between editorial, product, engineering, and martech teams, helping ensure content is discoverable, technically optimized, and positioned to capitalize on evolving search trends, including AI-powered search experiences and generative AI platforms. The ideal candidate combines a strong editorial SEO background with technical SEO expertise and can translate complex search data into actionable recommendations for content, product, and engineering stakeholders. The ideal candidate comes from a content-rich digital media environment and has successfully partnered with editorial teams while bringing a technical SEO mindset to the table. They are equally comfortable discussing content strategy with editors, technical requirements with engineers, and performance metrics with business stakeholders. Most importantly, they understand how evolving AI search experiences are reshaping SEO and can help position MS NOW for long-term organic growth post-launch. Day to day responsibilities include: Partner with editorial leadership, product managers, engineers, and martech teams to develop and execute SEO strategies that support audience growth and content discoverability. Analyze search performance, ranking trends, user engagement metrics, and traffic patterns to identify optimization opportunities. Perform technical SEO audits, including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, schema markup, page performance, and Core Web Vitals assessments. Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide actionable insights to editorial and business stakeholders. Evaluate the impact of AI-powered search experiences, generative AI platforms, and emerging search technologies on content strategy. Collaborate with Adobe and marketing technology teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded within digital experiences. Provide recommendations for content optimization, keyword strategy, metadata, internal linking, and information architecture. Support SEO requirements for new product features, launches, and site enhancements. Monitor industry trends, algorithm updates, and competitive performance to proactively adjust SEO strategies. Strong experience analyzing SEO performance metrics, search trends, and content effectiveness. Proven ability to translate complex SEO data into clear recommendations and reporting for stakeholders. Hands-on experience partnering with product, engineering, or digital platform teams. Familiarity with modern search trends, including AI-generated search experiences, generative AI, and emerging search technologies. Experience utilizing SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Conductor, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. CDP Experience Experience supporting large-scale editorial, publishing, media, or content-driven platforms. Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Adobe AEM, or related martech platforms. Understanding of schema markup, structured data, JavaScript SEO, and site performance optimization. Experience building dashboards and reporting using tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI. Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms and content publishing workflows. #J-18808-Ljbffr
