Endocrinology physician employment in New York :
A healthcare clinic with multiple sites throughout New York is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join their Flushing location, offering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Onsite
- Shift: Daytime
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-6PM, with one late night shift per week and one Saturday per month (provider receives a day off when working a Saturday).
- Hours: Full-time
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient Volume: 2-3 per hour
- Opportunity for leadership roles, including potential to become a regional medical director with relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
The Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for:
- Collecting, recording, and maintaining patient information, including medical histories, reports, and examination results.
- Maintaining complete and accurate medical records.
- Providing quality clinical diagnostic skills in patient care delivery.
- Reviewing test results and recommending suitable management for patients, including preventive health recommendations.
- Prescribing medications and formulating ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
Qualifications:
- M.D. / D.O.
- Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine
- DEA/BLS/ACLS certifications
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant field
- Competency in clinical diagnostics and patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuing medical education
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English
- Proven experience in leadership roles or site direction
