Alternative Education Full Time English Teacher JobID: 15863 Position Overview Full‑time teaching position for the 2026‑2027 school year at Phoenix Academy, part of the Kishwaukee Education Consortium in Malta. The academy serves students with truancy, work‑completion difficulties, and disciplinary events, with a success rate of nearly 93% over the last decade. Responsibilities Teach primarily English content across six classes in a seven‑period day, with a maximum of 15 students per class. Manage a school day from 8:10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (3:15 p.m. on Wednesdays), including lunch periods and student end‑of‑day at 2:15 p.m. Deliver English electives as applicable.
