MRO Mechanical Engineer

Overview Electrical Engineer – Aviation (Full‑time, Exempt, Onsite) Barfield, a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering, seeks a dedicated Electrical Engineer to support the Engineering Department by designing, developing, and testing electrical test equipment for aircraft. Key Responsibilities Analyze technical documentation and manufacturer aircraft equipment documentation. Design adequate test means and electrical test benches for aircraft units. Program test benches using Labview, Visual Basic, C or other. Use CAD software; evaluate design; work with mechanical engineers. Supervise parts procurement, assembly, and manufacturing processes. Perform preliminary and performance testing, analyze test data. Train technicians and provide support and troubleshooting. Provide improvement solutions and control project cost. Required Knowledge & Experience Design of electrical test benches, electrical systems and components. Laboratory test bench programming with Labview, Visual Basic, C. Standard office software proficiency; CAD proficiency. Manufacturing of electrical test equipment and supervision of assembly. Degree in Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering.
