Therapeutic Application Practice (TAP) is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and motivated Intensive In-Home (IIH) Counselors to provide quality, community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families. Position: Intensive In-Home Counselor

Responsibilities:

• Provide Intensive In-Home counseling services to children, adolescents, and families. 
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. 
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed. 
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with DBHDS, DMAS, Medicaid, and agency standards. 
• Collaborate with families, schools, community partners, and other treatment providers. 
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and required trainings. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. 
• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) preferred or eligible under Virginia DBHDS requirements. 
• Valid Virginia driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance. 
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and other required screenings. 
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
