Pay Rate: $30 – $38 per hour (Local | Based on Experience)
Job Type: Contract (Local Candidates Only)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:50 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing support for a high school student in a school-based setting. The LPN will be responsible for ensuring the student’s safety, medical stability, and ability to participate fully in the academic day.

This role requires strong clinical skills in seizure management, mobility assistance, and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor for seizure activity and provide appropriate seizure first aid

• Administer prescribed seizure rescue medication

• Provide continuous health supervision during school hours

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

• Support supervised oral feedings (monitor for food pocketing and choking risk)

• Perform two-person lift transfers safely

• Assist with wheelchair mobility and positioning

• Maintain accurate documentation of care and interventions

• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia LPN License

• Experience with seizure monitoring and administration of rescue medication

• Experience working with pediatric and/or special needs populations preferred

• Ability to safely perform two-person lifts

• Strong clinical observation and emergency response skills
