Quality Assurance Technician

Quality Assurance Technician - Pay Range= $21-$22

This position is temporary with an opportunity to be hired full-time.


Integrity Trade Services is hiring QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIANS for our manufacturing client to start at $21-$22/hr. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!


Responsibilities:

• Monitors production process to assure that products are meeting quality and safety specs
• Perform pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas
• Performs incoming inspections of carriers, ingredients, and packaging materials
• Collects samples for microbiology testing of ingredients and finished product
• Assisting in complaint investigations were necessary.
• Enforces QA policies and procedures
• Performs GMP audits and monitors GMP conditions

Overtime mandatory when required

Location: Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL 60632, and relocate to East Chicago IN 46312


Schedule/Shift Details

• 1st shift - 4:30 am to 1:30 pm - $21

• 2nd shift - 1:30 pm to 11:00 pm - $22

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a quality technician in USDA-monitored facility preferred
• Basic math and reading skills

• An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act.? The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment.? An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment.? Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

Eligibility:? Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age.? Entry dates into the 401(k) are:? 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.


The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.? As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
