Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Experience serving students with varied disabilities and learning challenges
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to foster a supportive, engaging classroom climate
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities
• Previous school-based or educational experience preferred

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct instruction and adapted curriculum, both in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Track and evaluate student progress, maintaining detailed documentation
• Utilize evidence-based classroom strategies and accommodations to support learner success
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
• Advocate effectively for student needs, including behavioral and social-emotional supports
