Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club, located in Coral Gables, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and maintain standards in food production and quality.
• Expedite orders in a timely manner.
• Practice proper sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Execute scheduled banquet functions.
• Maintain professional relationships with fellow associates.
• Assist in reducing waste and loss.
• Communicate equipment repair needs to the chef.
• Actively participate in training efforts.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Check and date all deliveries and report any variances to the chef in charge.
• Verify all coolers are at proper temperatures and cleaned daily.
• Process inventory requisitions and receive supplies as needed.
• Prepare food according to production forecasts and plans.
• Follow established recipes to ensure product consistency.

Education/Experience:

• Associate's degree in Culinary Arts and two years of culinary experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses:

• SERV Safe certification preferred.
