The Assistant Teacher supports parent involvement in the development of child and family goals and objectives through case management. Additionally, this position provides support and assistance to the Early Childhood Special Education Program, when needed, to provide collaborative services in the least restrictive environment. This position is a full-time grant funded position and is contingent upon renewal of the grant.Minimum Requirements:Indian Preference: Must be an enrolled Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Tribal Member.Experience: 6 months to 2 years of similar or related experience in education or childcare required. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willingness to acquire within six months of hire.
