Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)-Full-time Temp

Encompass Health, a national leader in inpatient rehabilitation, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our patient-centered team. In this role, you’ll deliver hands-on therapy under the direction of a licensed PT, supporting patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and other major illnesses. You’ll assist with therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility, and patient education, while carefully documenting progress. Working in a collaborative, clinically advanced environment, you’ll partner with nurses, therapists, and physicians to drive functional outcomes, uphold safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement.
