Job Description

As a Shipper, you will play a crucial role in the logistics team by picking orders, boxing, packaging, shrink wrapping, and palletizing orders. You will utilize tools such as a pallet jack and scan gun to verify orders and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders according to customer specifications.

• Box, package, shrink wrap, and palletize orders efficiently.

• Use a pallet jack and scan gun to handle orders.

• Verify orders against order forms to ensure correctness.

• Maintain an organized and clean shipping area.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse environment focusing on shipping, receiving, inventory, or stocking.

• Ability to stand for 8 hours.

• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience handling large orders and general labor tasks.

• Familiarity with world ship systems and inventory management.

• Skills in picking, packing, loading, and unloading shipments.

• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new, air-conditioned warehouse from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The facility is equipped with modern technologies to support efficient shipping and receiving operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
