Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner with an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy and NBRC CRT certification for a night shift hospital assignment. Requirements Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required BLS certification (American Heart Association) required NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required Illinois RCP license required if applicable EPIC charting experience required Solid understanding of all aspects of respiratory care required Responsibilities Hospital-based Respiratory Care department Provides care for Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patient populations Evaluates and treats patients on inpatient units and in the Emergency Department Uses EPIC EMR for charting and charge documentation Night shift schedule, 7:00PM-7:30AM 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Weekend shifts as needed Holiday shifts as needed Floating as needed Performs routine and critical respiratory care procedures under supervision of a Respiratory Care Supervisor and Medical Director Disassembles, cleans, and prepares respiratory equipment for safe operation Completes assessments on ventilator patients and other patients receiving respiratory care services Obtains and analyzes arterial, venous, and capillary blood gases Documents patient response and compliance with sleep therapy and care plans Reports equipment malfunctions and adverse effects to appropriate staff and physicians Assists with cleaning and stocking respiratory care equipment and supplies on inpatient units RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-758503 Open Positions: 7 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
