Shift: Day shift position, with variable start times. On days when there are meetings, it may require coming in before 7am or staying after 4pm, depending on the meeting invites. No weekends or holidays.

Job Description:

The Operating Room Nurse Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the operating room, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a focus on patient care quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Leading results for KPI: Turnaround times and First case on time starts
• Managing in a collective bargaining department
• Providing direct care for patients in the operating room
• Coordinating new project roll-outs and sustained compliance
• Acting as a resource for troubleshooting during call

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience
• Prefer CNOR
• Experience as OR leader and trauma experience
• Strong understanding of Current AORN Guidelines and evidenced based practice
• TJC and DOH survey experienced and regulatory preparedness focused
• Proficient with UKG/Kronos/Workday/staff scheduling
