Anesthesiologist
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologists to join our distinguished team at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in general anesthesia and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment. This position is open to new graduates who demonstrate a commitment to learning, professional growth, and delivering high-quality patient care within a collaborative team environment.
Position Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care
- Supervise and collaborate with anesthesia advanced practice providers (CRNA or anesthesiologist assistant) to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services
- Participate in providing 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the anesthesia care team
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology
- Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure)
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in general anesthesia (newer physicians with relevant training are encouraged to apply)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
