Radiologic Technologist

Works closely with phlebotomist, nurses, physicians, radiologists and fellow radiographers to perform technical procedures in Outpatient Services. Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology required. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or achieved within 12 months of hire date required. Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical and technical personnel. Knowledge of electrical and radiation hazards required. Capable of lifting and positioning patients and equipment. Position requires ability to walk frequently; stand and sit for prolonged periods; see objects closely; and hear normal sounds with background noises. BLS required.
