Swim Lesson Instructor Part-Time

Core Aquatics: Learn 2 Swim - Swim Lesson Instructor Part-Time, Year Round SALARY: $15.00 per hour LOCATIONS: Prospect High School

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach water adjustment, float, and breathing skills
• Help young swimmers build water confidence
• Teach basic water safety and the dos/don'ts of recreational swimming
• Teach both recreation and pre-competitive swimming skills
• Teach basics of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
• Rain swimmers to compete at age appropriate levels
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong swimming background required
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
• Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns as needed
• Ability to teach required skills
• Demonstrate promptness and advanced preparation
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred
